Seattle Tough Test for Short

The Seattle Supercross provided great memories for Team BTOSports KTM’s Andrew Short last year as he went on to win his first career 450SX main event but this year, things were a bit different. The track was a sloppy mess for most of the day with rains coming and going. The ruts were deep, the berms blown out and it made for a challenging time for our own Andrew Short.

Short Scores Sixth in Minny, Moves into Seventh in Series Points

Team BTOSports KTM’s Andrew Short rode a great race at round fourteen of the AMA Supercross series as he ended up sixth in the 450SX main event. The sixth place included a great start, some mixing it up with Chad Reed and tied for the second best results of the season for Andrew.

On a rough and tough Daytona SX track, BTOSports.com KTM's Andrew Short had some highs and some lows as he fought his way to a twelfth place finish in the 450SX main event. It wasn't what he wanted to take home from the race but the positives are that his heat race went well for the first half as Shorty led and battled with old friend Ken Roczen. In the main event, Short started outside the top ten and from there he moved up a few spots and down a few spots to eventually end up with his 12th.

BTOSports KTM's Short Tenth in St Louis

Using a paitent wait-for-it approach for the 450SX main event, BTOSports KTM's Andrew Short ended the night in tenth place in only his second race on the new KTM 450SXF machine. The main event itself was crazy with a bad crash causing a single file re-start just three laps in where Short had to line up and under trying conditions, try to get to the front.
