Shorty Finishes Fifth in San Francisco

When the racers traveled north to San Francisco for round four of the AMA Supercross series, they were expecting a rainy and rutty track. What they got was a clear and chilly night of racing. And the race certainly started off the right way for team Honda Red Bull Racing’s Andrew Short when he went out there and won his first heat of the year.

Andrew Short Races to Fifth in Phoenix

Team Honda Red Bull Racing’s Andrew Short made the most of a bad situation this past weekend at the AMA supercross round in Phoenix on his way to a fifth place finish in the 450 Supercross class. A nasty crash in the second practice session left the #29 on the ground with the wind knocked out of him and forced him to sit the rest of the session out.

“I just made a mistake in that tabletop to tabletop section and got bucked off my bike” said Shorty after the race “Thanks to some Ibuprofen, I was ready to go for the next practice.”
